Participants of the flower-laying ceremony at the end of the ceremony walked along the central square of the capital to the flagpole installed near the building of the Palace of Children's and Youth Creativity. The country's leadership, veterans and guests of the celebration witnessed the raising of the Victory Banner – a copy of the assault flag of the 150th Order of Kutuzov, II degree of the Idritsk Rifle Division, hoisted over the Reichstag on the 1st of May, 1945. The canvas, handed over to the Pridnestrovians by the Russians in May 2014, rose into the peaceful sky of Tiraspol to the sound of the Soviet anthem performed by the orchestra of the General Staff of the PMR Ministry of Defense.
