In the course of the videoconference of the presidential Operational Headquarters for the Prevention of the Spread of Coronavirus, they reported that as of this morning, 80 people were in Slobodzeya infectious diseases hospital, including six children. The diagnosis of COVID-19 was confirmed for 72 patients. Totally 77 cases of coronavirus disease were recorded for Pridnestrovians. Four cases ended lethally. One resident of Pridnestrovie is undergoing treatment in Moldavian medical institution. By lunchtime, the data had changed. 9 cases more of infection have been confirmed.
The Operational Headquarters continues to actively interact with citizens. The hotline received more than 23000 calls. Residents of the republic use the services of employees of a single crisis center. For several days of its existence, more than 4300 calls and 1200 applications received via e-mail were received and processed. Law enforcement authorities monitor the enforcement of quarantine restrictions. Yesterday, one and a half thousand shopping facilities were checked, as a result of which 6 violations were revealed. Employees of the Department for Combating Economic Crimes did not find any facts of overpricing. Violators of the self-isolation regime are among citizens who are prescribed quarantine at the place of residence: 14 people were brought to administrative responsibility per day, 222 in total during the period of the restrictive measures. At present, 1600 people are in home quarantine. About two hundred complete preventive two-week isolation. Pridnestrovians suffering from chronic diseases (36076 people) are under special control, they are in contact with them, Operational Headquarters inform and remind them of the need to minimize contacts with the outside world. Employees of the internal affairs bodies inspect the streets of settlements, monitoring the implementation by citizens of the republic of quarantine orders. We are talking about the inadmissibility of aimless being outside the house, group walks and presence on the street of children unaccompanied by their parents.
The Pridnestrovian border is still closed for free crossing. Yesterday, 38 foreigners were denied entry, the same number of the PMR citizens entered the republic, having received an epidemiological card prescribing 14-day isolation. 26 people left the territory of Pridnestrovie.
Necessity to encourage public utilities involved in the centralized disinfection of common areas was discussed in the course of the meeting of the Operational Headquarters. Such an order was given to the Heads of state administrations. In addition, the President emphasized the need to provide material support to representatives of various fields affected by the performance of official duties related to anticoronavirus activities.
Another operational task set by the President: by Monday to prepare a room for computer tomograph installation on the basis of the Slobodzeya hospital. At the beginning of next week, technical specialists should begin to install it. The issues of acquisition and launch and other medical equipment, the need for which arose in connection with the pandemic, are being studied. Issues with isolated living of physicians in contact with carriers of coronavirus are being addressed. More than four dozen employees of the Slobodzeya hospital are housed on the basis of the Dniester Dawns recreation complex. The same amount of personnel who want to protect their own families and among the staff of the Republican Clinical Hospital.
The issue of participation of Pridnestrovians in church services is topical for residents and the leadership of the republic. The leadership of the Russian Orthodox Church insists on the inadmissibility of the spread of the virus in church walls and in houses of worship, insisting on the advisability of holding services without the presence of parishioners. Patriarch Kirill urged the flock to pray at home. The Head of the Moldavian Metropolis Vladimir adheres to similar position. At the same time, services in the temples will be held. It is possible to organize live broadcasts of holiday services. This issue is being discussed with the Archbishop of Tiraspol and Dubossary Sawa. A dialogue is also being held with the leaders of other faiths, whom the leadership of the country and the headquarters calls for to protect their parishioners from possible infection by temporarily limiting their participation in mass meetings.
Mass events on the occasion of the liberation of settlements of the Pridnestrovian region from Nazi invaders will not be organized (most cities and regions of the republic celebrate this event in April). To bring flowers privately to the graves of defenders is not forbidden to monuments and memorial plates, the President emphasized, noting that he himself plans to bow to the heroes on Sunday April 12. The main thing is that there are no crowds of citizens. Official ceremonies and rallies of memory are canceled.
