The President inspected the construction sites of the capital at the end of cabinet-type meetings. Attention was paid to socially significant objects repaired under the Capital Investment Fund. One of the locations is Pridnestrovian State University. Readiness (based on this year's plan) is 90%. A fountain will appear on the university square in all its green granite glory by the end of August. The official launch will take place on the 1st of September on the occasion of the start of the new academic year and at the same time the university housewarming. Small architectural forms are ready for installation. The flower beds are about to play with colorful flowers –preference will be given to annual plants this year, it will be replaced by roses in the future. Representatives of contractors involved in the reconstruction of Pridnestrovian State University discussed some current issues with the President. For example, they asked his opinion on the color and font design of the inscription above the entrance to the head building of the university. They agreed on the white and gold version.
Vadim Krasnoselsky was interested in the progress of work on the campus. The President emphasized that nonresident students will move into the renovated and equipped dormitories in September.
The Head of the city administration said during the inspection visit that the work planned for this year at such facilities as kindergarten number 23 "Ryabinushka", humanitarian and mathematical gymnasium in Tiraspol, the school of Kremenchug, stadium of the school number 18, Republican Clinical Hospital are nearing completion. The improvement in the hospital has been almost completed. Work continues in the new building of forensic medical examination. The contractors plan to complete them and deliver the fully equipped facility in October. Vadim Krasnoselsky asked about the capital's hospital of veterans. Benches, trash cans, and lanterns have been updated along the perimeter there.
The visiting conference was held in the streets of Bendery. The President accompanied by the Head of the local administration drove through the city. They paid attention to the roads. The road surfacing is simultaneously renewed in many directions. Roman Ivanchenko said that two teams are involved in patching works. Others work in the medium mode: in the area of the park at the House of Culture named after Tkachenko and on the square near the House of Culture, in front of the Transfiguration Cathedral and along Lenin Street (between Suvorov and Kotovsky Streets). These locations are planned to be cleaned up by September. They will go to the new addresses after the delivery of these objects. The works are planned in stages to preserve the possibility of traffic.
Some of the facilities renovated under the Capital Investment Fund program of Bendery were inspected today. Being in the central part of the city, the President recalled: if the flower beds or road surface are damaged during the laying of engineering communications, the organizations that caused the damage must restore it. This is a working practice, and it must be unconditional, the President emphasized.
Vadim Krasnoselsky focused on the future fountain complex in front of the Tkachenko House of Culture. The bowl of "dry" fountain has already been filled, the second one will start tomorrow. The PMR President paid attention to the site at the city post office, noting that the rows of shopping facilities here should not be chaotic. The city administration was instructed to hold a collective meeting with tenants and come to a consensus on the style of the external design of the shopping area.
As for the Liberation Square: it will take about three weeks to complete the work here according to contractors. Its decoration will be in the same colors and ornamentation as the streets leading to the square.
Vadim Krasnoselsky during the working meeting asked about educational institutions located in the Severny microdistrict. The renovation of the school and kindergarten is at the final stage. Kindergarten number 26 is finishing outdoor work, renovated facades, storm drainage, blind area, shade canopies. Repairs were carried out in four groups. Two more will be put in order after September 1. The President instructed the Head to check the condition of the kindergarten furniture and update it if necessary. Regarding school number 17: it is ready to start the educational process, informed Roman Ivanchenko. They also talked about the Solnechny public garden. The President was assured that the park zone would be ready for the City Day on the 8th of October.
