Meeting with representatives of the OSCE Mission to the Republic of Moldova was held at the office of the PMR President. The delegation was led by Сlaus Neukirch. Welcoming the guests, Vadim Krasnoselsky noted the value of the upcoming discussion in the context of the Bratislava meeting in 5 + 2 format. The PMR President emphasized that he was interested in the opinion of European diplomats regarding the reasons for not signing the final protocol. “It is important for us to know what, in your opinion, was the obstacle to find common ground, and what measures should be taken to find way out of this situation,” said Vadim Krasnoselsky. At the same time, the PMR President emphasized that the Pridnestrovian position, which is based on such aspects as protecting the rights of citizens, constructivism and contractual ability, remains unchanged. “Pridnestrovie has always been constructive. We see the possibility of solving existing social, humanitarian, cultural, economic problems, and stand for the rights of citizens living in Pridnestrovie are not violated by Moldova. We hope for productive dialogue”, the PMR President outlined.
Сlaus Neukirch, for his part, noted that he was glad of the opportunity to discuss the current state of affairs in the negotiation process between the meeting in Bratislava and the upcoming informal conference in Bavaria.
The interlocutors exchanged views on the entire spectrum of issues of interest and agreed to continue the dialogue in the working order.
