Significant for the residents of Dubossary and all Pridnestrovians, who cherish the memory of the tragic events of 1992, the location is house number 64 in Oktyabrskaya Street. The memorial plaque was installed on the building, informing that it was at this place on the night of March 1 to 2 that the defender of Pridnestrovie, militia major, the first Head of the Dubossary Department of Internal Affairs of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic Igor Sipchenko, was mortally wounded. Laying flowers at the nominal memorial sign, Pridnestrovians pay tribute to the memory and respect not only personally to Igor Sipchenko, but also to all law enforcement officers who died, protecting peace on Pridnestrovian soil and ensuring the safety of the inhabitants of the republic, to each defender of Pridnestrovie.

Fresh flowers on behalf of the Pridnestrovian people were left today at the memorial plate by the President of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic Vadim Krasnoselsky. A mourning meeting was held at the site of the tragedy that occurred three decades ago, it was attended by the heads of state authorities and local self-government, the First President of the PMR, relatives and colleagues of Igor Sipchenko, veterans and law enforcement officers of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic.
