Vadim Krasnoselsky to the Ministry of Healthcare staff: "Thank you for your work. You are the best. You are doing great".

A gala meeting to mark the 35th anniversary of the Ministry of Healthcare of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic was held in the small hall of the Palace of the Republic. The PMR President congratulated the ministry's staff. Vadim Krasnoselsky emphasized the importance of the Ministry of Healthcare. He discussed the preconditions for its creation during the early days of Pridnestrovian statehood, when residents of the left bank of the Dniester were essentially left without legal and social support. Vadim Krasnoselsky recalled that the governing structures were formed not for the sake of creating a state per se, but for the sake of saving people – by creating a state.

The PMR President addressed the coronavirus pandemic, a difficult challenge for the entire global community, emphasizing that Pridnestrovian healthcare has overcome it, unlike the healthcare systems of many countries. Vadim Krasnoselsky discussed the development of the republic's medical sector and its achievements. He emphasized that increasingly more types of medical care are available without leaving the republic. Another important aspect is the well-staffed medical institutions with professional personnel (approximately 90%), who, importantly, are trained in Pridnestrovian educational institutions. Vadim Krasnoselsky emphasized that the demand for medical professions is high among young people another significant indicator.

"Thank you for your work. You are the best. You are doing great. May God grant you health, prosperity, and peace", the President concluded. The President extended special words of gratitude to veterans of the medical service and congratulated the female employees of the Ministry of Healthcare on the upcoming International Women's Day, noting that they are the soul of Pridnestrovian medicine.

The most distinguished employees received state and departmental awards.
