The President met with the city leadership and people's representatives in the meeting hall of the state administrations of Tiraspol and Dnestrovsk. The format is dialogue and discussion. They spoke on a variety of topics. The President was asked about the current state of affairs in foreign policy and the historical aspects that led to modern realities. Vadim Krasnoselsky emphasized that the Pridnestrovians have never acted as separatists despite decades of false accusations. The destruction of the country is the work of the Moldavian elites. The President of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic mentioned the tragic events for Pridnestrovians on March 2 and June 19, 1992, and also focused on the date June 19, 2021, noting that they opened a monument to those who came to the Pridnestrovian land with a deadly weapon in Balti (RM) at time when Pridnestrovians grieved over the victims of Moldovan nationalism.
The President of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic spoke about the complexities of the negotiation process and attempts - so far in vain - to intensify and fill it with practical content.
A range of questions was devoted to the pandemic. They expressed gratitude to the President for the timely creation of the Operational Headquarters and the adoption of decisions, including unpopular ones, for taking responsibility and personal involvement in all processes related to countering the spread of coronavirus. They spoke at the meeting about spending on the fight against COVID, about preparedness in case of a new wave of morbidity, about the vaccination campaign and certification that according to Vadim Krasnoselsky has been turned into another tool of political manipulation in the world.
They discussed at the meeting the topic of the infrastructural transformation of the city. It was noted that financial investments in this area for several years exceeded three hundred million. 67 objects were repaired. They talked about future plans - the completion of the reconstruction of the Pridnestrovian State University, the creation of a museum quarter, and putting in order the embankment. There is a transition from the improvement of the central sector to the infrastructural renewal of microdistricts in the longer term. They talked about the fate of the city stadium and the construction of local sports zones, as well as the repair of the stadium in Dnestrovsk. The President of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic was asked for assistance in organizing the repair of the roadway on the section leading from the emergency room to the intensive care unit of the Dniester city hospital. The problem of ensuring the fire safety of educational institutions has been raised. They talked about the mechanism of effective maintenance and service of socially significant objects.
It was noted that Tiraspol requires increased attention due to its special status. The President of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic Vadim Krasnoselsky recalled the law on the status of the capital, which has not been enforced for a long time, but has now gained practical fullness. Vadim Krasnoselsky emphasized the approval of dynamic infrastructural transformation of Tiraspol.
The issue of budget planning was raised. Aspects related to geodesy and the lack of land registry was discussed. They asked if there was any hope that private households in Tiraspol would be included in the sewerage system. It was noted that the problem is not only in the laying of networks, but in the absence of pumping stations. The issue of the overpriced services of a number of service organizations was not left without attention. They discussed tourism. The necessity to develop a network of bike paths and improve pedestrian zones was discussed.
They talked about housing construction, in particular under the presidential program, about subsidizing state employees for the purchase of apartments in the secondary market, as well as the problems of empty for decades buildings. It was noted that at least two dozen high-rise buildings require demolition or major repairs in Tiraspol. At the same time, there is no resettlement, the so-called mobile housing stock. Vadim Krasnoselsky considers it expedient to resort to the possibilities of the secondary housing market in this situation.
The issues of youth policy were not ignored. They talked about good Pridnestrovian education. The issue of the shortage of skilled workers in working specialties and the measures taken at the state level to solve this problem was discussed. The President of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic was asked if there is a possibility of creating a training platform in the republic for training managers, which has become a kind of social lift for young specialists. Vadim Krasnoselsky supported the idea, noting that such education should be basic. It is necessary to train system administrators who could be professionally realized at various sites, emphasized the PMR President. A specially created commission will work on this initiative.
