Meeting with Russian military leaders initiated by the PMR President took place at the presidential executive office. The military attaché of the Russian Embassy in the Republic of Moldova Andrey Pribytkov, the co-chairman of the JCC from Russia Andrey Gorobtsov, the Head of the OGRV in Pridnestrovie Dmitry Zelenkov, senior military chief of the military contingent of the Ministry of Defense from the Russian Federation Dmitry Sorokin and others were among the invitees. The Pridnestrovian side in addition to the PMR President was represented by the Head of the PMR Presidential Administration Sergei Belous, the PMR Defense Minister Oleg Obruchkov, Adviser to the PMR President Vitaly Razgonov and senior military commander of Joint Control Commission of Joint Peacekeeping Forces from Pridnestrovie Nikolay Nikonov.

Vadim Krasnoselsky, welcoming the interlocutors, noted that he had initiated this meeting for actual exchange of views on the existing situation in peacekeeping activities on the territory of Pridnestrovie and the work of the JCC. It is necessary to be in control of the situation, to have reliable information, to understand the position of the parties to make verified decisions, the PMR President emphasized.

Andrei Gorobtsov, in turn, noted the importance of positions coordinating, especially in the context of growing tensions.

The interlocutors talked about the meeting of the JCC that took place the day before, discussing the details and some problematic aspects that the participants encountered. The generally not entirely favorable atmosphere and persisting negative tendencies in the dialogue were noted. It was noted that Russia as before acts as the guarantor of peace, and the Operational Group of Russian Forces and the JCC remain the basic component of peacekeeping activities in the Security Zone at the same time. During the discussion, it was emphasized that peacekeeping at all times was and remains an important distinguishing feature of Russia, close in essence to the national idea of the state.

The meeting participants discussed practical aspects related to the optimization of Russia's military presence, including the improvement of mechanisms for monitoring the situation along the entire perimeter of the Security Zone.
