The President visited Slobodzeya district. He held a visiting meeting with the Head of the district administration. Several social infrastructure facilities of the Chobruchi village were visited. The progress of work at the local stadium was examined. A football field is being tidied up here, a building is being erected to equip a gym. Changing rooms are arranged at the request of the local population. Over 6.7 million rubles have been allocated from the capital investment fund. The work was completed by 70% of the volume planned for this year. Vadim Krasnoselsky focused on lighting the stadium. It must comply with the functionality and regulatory requirements, the President noted. The Head of Slobodzeya Vasily Tishchenko focused on the sports achievements of Chobruchi residents, stressing that the sports infrastructure is in demand and needs to be modernized and developed. They drew attention to the convenient location of the stadium – near the school and the village park during the inspection of the facility. That is, the facility is used for physical education and sports, and is also part of a single recreational zone.
The Park named after Rodin of the village of Chobruchi is also being overhauled. It is included in this year's capital investment program like the stadium. More than three million rubles were allocated from the Capital investment fund. More than half of the funds have been spent. The territory is covered with paving slabs. The lighting system is being mounted. There are plans to organize local leisure zones, open a park cafe. The Swan Palace is a special pride. It is being reconstructed at the expense of the state target program for the preservation of cultural heritage sites (the cost of the work is 637,500 rubles). In the historic building, window and door blocks were replaced, the roof, facade, utility rooms were repaired. By the spring, they expect to complete the bulk of the work, and the Chobruchi park, created in the middle of the last century by the famous architect Dmitry Rodin, will look in accordance with its status as the State monument of garden and park art. The President drew attention to the landscaping of the park, noting that landscape design is of particular importance in the design of leisure areas.
