The Head of the Operational Headquarters for the Prevention of Spread of the Virus Ruslan Mova in the course of the meeting informed the President and colleagues about the state of affairs. Currently, there are 58 patients in the Slobodzeya hospital. Five of them are children. Three people were hospitalized with suspected coronavirus during this day. The number of confirmed cases of the disease among Pridnestrovians is 31. Two PMR citizens infected with COVID-19 died. The results of samples of 19 patients of the hospital are expected.
Anticoronavirus activity is carried out in the manner prescribed by the Operational Headquarters. Communication with the population is maintained by means of hotline, there were 900 calls during 24 hours. Sanitary treatment of premises and territories continues. 780 objects were sanitized per day. During the same period, activities of 12 outlets that violated quarantine requirements were suspended, and 11 offenders identified among persons obliged to be in conditions of self-isolation were brought to justice. The day before, 46 citizens of the PMR entered the republic, 19 left, Ruslan Mova said.
The President asked about the provision of the population with protective masks of local production. Demand for them is still great. Every day, from 20000 to 30000 units are sold directly from the manufacturer. The size of the state order has been increased, as enterprises and departments continue to request more masks. The production of protective overalls continues. Every 150-200 from the assembly line are sent to the disposal of the Ministry of Health. Vadim Krasnoselsky returned to the primary importance of protecting doctors. The President noted that negligence and inconsistency led to the first case of coronavirus among Pridnestrovian doctors, and not infectious diseases.
The Government purchased medicines that WHO recommends using to treat patients with coronavirus. The President was interested in the availability of disinfectants in medical facilities in the required quantity. Incoming information about their limited volume is checked at some hospitals.
The President’s order is being carried out to organize distance courses in resuscitation, as well as providing assistance to citizens with infectious diseases for general practitioners.
Tomorrow, a working group analyzing the prospects of deploying its own laboratory in Pridnestrovie to study samples of COVID-19 will leave for consultations in Chisinau. The President called this issue vital and urged specialists to make every effort to implement this project of national importance, which is most valuable for ensuring the security of the Pridnestrovian people.
It was about the capacity to accommodate sick and suspected of infection of citizens. Various options are being worked out. Tomorrow, the PMR Minister of Health Elena Kulichenko should present the big picture. It is necessary to think over and calculate not only the reserve areas, but also soft and hard inventory, medicines, equipment, personnel. It was emphasized during the meeting that various options for the development of events should be considered, including the most negative scenarios. In this regard, it is necessary to have knowledge about the possibility of placing hospital beds not only in healthcare facilities, but also at other sites, for example, on the basis of sports facilities.
