The heads of state administrations of cities and regions of the republic informed the President during a conference with the heads of state authorities and local governments about the situation on the ground, spoke about the implementation of current tasks, municipal and state programs received earlier instructions. They talked about the mass cultural, sports, socially significant events held last week. Work plans and problematic aspects were discussed. The President mentioned the improvement tax in the course of the discussion. The corresponding line appeared in utility bills. Vadim Krasnoselsky emphasized that it is necessary to inform the population about such innovations in advance, explaining the essence, goals, and amount of taxation. The relevant departments and the media were instructed to cover this topic in order to remove reasonable questions from citizens from the agenda.
Another recommendation of the President: for officials to visit various facilities more often, get acquainted and assess the situation on the ground, make decisions taking into account the opinions of all interested parties, listening to the arguments personally.
They talked about upcoming school assemblies. Vadim Krasnoselsky recalled that it is a good tradition for deputies and officials to visit ceremonial events dedicated to the end of the academic year. The President focused on the issue of children's health, noting that physical culture should be instilled from childhood. The President instructed to develop sets of exercises for students (depending on the age category), the systematic implementation of which will help maintain children's posture and improve the health of schoolchildren. Physical education should become a habit, a norm of life, Vadim Krasnoselsky considers. The program must be developed by the 1st of September. It was noted at the meeting discussing the sports readiness of young people that against the background of the high achievements of Pridnestrovians in professional sports, there are gaps at the level of physical education. The Head of Bendery Roman Ivanchenko said that the event held in the city this week to pass the standards Ready for Labor and Defense showed that only 40% of the participants completed the tasks. Only seven people received the gold badge. The Head of the administration of Bendery said that options for organizing children's sports and recreation areas for the summer period on the basis of not only educational, but cultural and sports institutions are being worked out.
