Vadim Krasnoselsky held a regular meeting of the Operational Headquarters, created in connection with the situation in Ukraine

The PMR President keeps under personal control the issue of providing assistance to foreign citizens forced to leave their homeland. The President of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic was informed in the course of the meeting of the relevant Operational Headquarters that about six thousand foreigners had arrived in Pridnestrovie in need of temporary accommodation. Many have been taken by Pridnestrovian families, some live in privately rented living quarters, and there are those who have taken advantage of temporary residence centres. There are five institutions at the moment in which conditions for living of six hundred people have been created: the Tirotex sanatorium in the capital, the Solnechny dispensary in Dnestrovsk and Metallurg (MMZ) in Rybnitsa, the Dnestrovsky Orchard hotel in Dubossary and the "Anniversary" sports complex of Rybnitsa. 768 foreigners used the services of the Pridnestrovian centers. Now 432 people (252 adults and 180 children) live in it during the week. The current load is 72%. Additional locations have been thought out in case of an increase in the flow of people arriving from abroad. There are a dozen and a half objects in reserve. Vadim Krasnoselsky focused on the need to use such sites that would allow the maximum number of people to be accommodated at one address. It is important to have kitchen equipment, equipped with furniture and catering units provided with utensils.

It was noted that comfortable living conditions have been created for citizens living in temporary residence centers, food and medical care are provided. Measures have been taken to provide access to the Internet. Minors are given the opportunity to attend schools, kindergartens, institutions of additional education and sports. According to the Head of the Operational Headquarters Vitaly Neagu, 170 children who arrived from abroad are studying in the schools of Pridnestrovie (their meals are organized in school canteens), 65 kids attend pre-school educational institutions of the republic. All citizens accommodated in the centers are tested for COVID-19 free of charge. If carriers of the infection are detected, they are sent to the coronavirus hospitals of the republic, where foreign citizens receive the entire range of medical services at the expense of the Pridnestrovian budget on an equal basis with citizens of the PMR. Nine people who arrived from Ukraine are undergoing treatment at the moment.

They discussed during the meeting a wide range of issues related to ensuring the security of all citizens in Pridnestrovie – living in the republic and arriving on its territory. Necessary measures are being taken to maintain the stability of the situation.
