The PMR President communicated today with the Deputy Chairman of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, the Head of the United Russia faction Sergei Neverov about the situation in Pridnestrovie and its perimeter, relations with Russia, the course of the negotiation process with Moldova. The working meeting was held at the lower house of the Russian parliament. The interlocutors noted the importance of systemic interaction, emphasized that the working dialogue of the Pridnestrovian leadership with the Russian parliamentarians is continuous and constructive. They discussed such topics as the creation of a legal framework for Pridnestrovians to receive Russian citizenship in a simplified manner, the development of working mechanism for the use of maternal capital in the Pridnestrovie, and the inclusion of Pridnestrovian Russians in the Russian medical insurance system. Vadim Krasnoselsky outlined specific proposals in these areas. Sergei Neverov noted that these issues, which remain relevant, are well known to the Russian deputies, and work to resolve them is being carried out at various sites. The vice speaker said that it is necessary to conduct additional consultations with the relevant departments to assess the viability and legal validity of the initiatives presented by the Pridnestrovian side.
The meeting participants discussed the domestic and foreign policies of the republic, Pridnestrovian-Russian contacts, ongoing and promising projects based on bilateral cooperation. Having exchanged information and opinions, we agreed to continue a constructive dialogue in the working order.
