One of the founders of Pridnestrovie, an active participant in the formation and development of the republic, an experienced parliamentarian, manager, public figure, scientist and teacher Vitaly Ivanovich Glebov passed away on the 6th of February because of a serious illness. Taking into consideration the number of those who knew, respected and appreciated Vitaly Glebov, his associates, colleagues, students, public visitation ceremony was organized. It took place near the head building of the Pridnestrovian State University. Vitaly Ivanovich devoted almost three decades to scientific and teaching activities. Doctor of Economics, he headed the research laboratory, dealing with the development of agriculture.
The PMR President Vadim Krasnoselsky arrived to see off Vitaly Glebov on his last journey. The President during the funeral ceremony addressed the words of condolence and support to the relatives and colleagues of Vitaly Glebov. Vadim Krasnoselsky emphasized that no matter what position Vitaly Glebov held, no matter what activities he was engaged in, he always remained a truly good person, who was distinguished by love of life and kindness. Another important quality of Vitaly Glebov is adherence to principles, the President noted. Vadim Krasnoselsky said that he kept in touch with Vitaly Ivanovich until the last days, and stressed that the bright memory of this worthy person would live on.
Vitaly Glebov will be buried at the Zapadnoye (Western) cemetery in the capital.
