The started PMR Championship was organized on the basis of the specialized children's and youth school of the Olympic reserve of rowing and shooting in Tiraspol. The sporting event will last for two days. The opening took place today. The PMR President Vadim Krasnoselsky took part in the ceremony. Greeting the organizers, participants and judges of the competition, he noted, “In rowing, both academic and canoeing, the continuity of generations is preserved. Whatever competitions are held, both sports veterans and young sportsmen are always in the ranks. This contributes to the popularization of such a beautiful sport as rowing. Recently, young people have become even more interested in water sports. This prompts the development of the material and technical base, the construction of new facilities, the purchase of new modern equipment. The state has been investing significant material resources in equipping and developing the sports infrastructure during the past three-four years. We will do this until every base turns into a cozy, accessible, athlete-friendly training place that you deserve one hundred percent".
