Vadim Krasnoselsky received a delegation from the Russian Embassy

The PMR President Vadim Krasnoselsky met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Moldova Oleg Ozerov. The diplomat arrived accompanied by embassy staff. The PMR Foreign Minister Vitaly Ignatiev participated in the working meeting from the Pridnestrovian side.

Vadim Krasnoselsky emphasized that working contacts with the Russian Embassy are systemic, allowing for a prompt response to any changes in the situation and updating the agenda. Importantly, both sides demonstrate a mutual interest in dialogue and respond to proposals for extraordinary meetings if necessary. The President noted that a number of issues have accumulated that require discussion. Topics include maintaining peace in Pridnestrovie, regional security, continuing the negotiation process between Pridnestrovie and Moldova, and Russian-Pridnestrovian cooperation in various areas. Oleg Ozerov in turn emphasized his appreciation for the opportunity to exchange views on a wide range of issues of mutual interest. He noted the interest shown in Pridnestrovie by foreign diplomats. Speaking about the agenda, the ambassador focused on maintaining peace, security, and stability in the region amidst the current complex geopolitical environment and various crises, including energy.
