Vadim Krasnoselsky received the Czech delegation

A Czech delegation is in Tiraspol on a working visit. The diplomats were received by the PMR President Vadim Krasnoselsky. Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Czech Republic to the Republic of Moldova Stanislav Kazecky is accompanied by Deputy Advisor for Political and Consular Affairs Martin Cech. The Pridnestrovian side was represented at the meeting by Foreign Minister Vitaly Ignatiev. They discussed bilateral Pridnestrovian-Czech contacts, as well as the work of the “Permanent Conference…” format, in which the Czech Republic participates as a representative of the European Union (“5 + 2” observer) and one of the fifty weven OSCE members – mediator of the negotiation process.

The interlocutors noted that their previous meeting took place last year. There have been a number of issues that need to be discussed since then. They talked about the desire for peace and the expediency of a pragmatic approach to solving pressing issues. An example is the conclusion of current mutually beneficial energy contracts, on which the well-being, comfort and safety of citizens of both Pridnestrovie and Moldova depend.

The meeting participants exchanged views on a wide range of issues of mutual interest, outlined plans for further interaction.
