Vadim Krasnoselsky met with British Ambassador Steven Fisher

The meeting of the PMR President Vadim Krasnoselsky and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Her Majesty the Queen of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland to the Republic of Moldova Steven Fisher was held at the presidential executive office.

Welcoming the British Diplomat, Vadim Krasnoselsky pointed out that personal meetings are rare due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and it makes it even more valuable. The President noted the involvement of Great Britain in the situation in Pridnestrovie and around it. Vadim Krasnoselsky said that although Great Britain is not a participant of the 5 + 2 format, nevertheless, their opinion is taken into consideration when resolving pressing issues, and it is interesting for us to know, it is important for us to hear opinion on the current situation.

Steven Fisher noted that the previous meeting took place in September 2021. He emphasized at the same time that he had carefully observed the development of events throughout this period and indicated his readiness to discuss issues of mutual interest.

The interlocutors in the course of the meeting exchanged views on the current range of topics, including the Moldovan-Pridnestrovian negotiation process as well as the current regional and international situation.
