Vadim Krasnoselsky took part in the PMR Supreme Council Plenary Session

The first emergency session of the VIII session of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic of the VII convocation was held by Pridnestrovian parliamentarians today. There is one issue included to the agenda – consideration of the Decree of the PMR President "On the introduction of a state of emergency economic in the territory of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic". The need to declare a special legal regime is due to a possible reduction or termination of natural gas supplies to Pridnestrovie. A set of effective measures must be developed and implemented in advance in case of a negative scenario in the energy sector. They are spelled out in the presidential decree, which, according to constitutional norms, comes into force subject to approval by the legislative body of the republic.

Vadim Krasnoselsky personally substantiated the presidential decree today, prepared on the basis of the decision taken by the members of the Security Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic.

The deputy corps unanimously supported the introduction of a state of emergency economic. The special legal regime will be in effect throughout the territory of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic. The term approved by the Supreme Council is 30 days. The countdown begins six hours after the official announcement of the legislators' decision.
