The PMR President was asked about his impressions of the parade and the attention to the celebration from the citizens. "This is a national holiday. People have been feeling it for 35 years, celebrating it as their holiday, as their birthday... I am glad that I saw many people in the square, saw military units, saw our children, our youth, who were next to us and are always next to us in reality. This is the future of Pridnestrovie. We are all the Pridnestrovian people. The Commander-in-Chief spoke about the participants of the Military Parade, emphasizing the continuity of generations. "If you paid attention to the parade ground, the Honor Guard Company was presented in different uniforms. This is not just a uniform. This is the uniform of the times of Generalissimo Suvorov, the founder of the city of Tiraspol. This is the uniform of the fighters of the unit of the Russian Imperial Army from the times of Napoleonic battles. This is also the uniform of today. Cadets and Suvorov cadets in addition. This is the future. This is the connection of generations. Do you understand? The Pridnestrovian people are showing precisely the connection of generations. A chain of events. There is no way around it. Thanks to the preservation of historical memory, our history, we have preserved the Pridnestrovian people. The most important achievement of the Pridnestrovian people is interethnic harmony, respect for each other, regardless of language, religion or skin color. This is what distinguishes the Pridnestrovian people from many states around us, and they show an example of how people of different nationalities should live on one small land. Respect each other, be tolerant of fate, without claims, you understand? This is the Pridnestrovian people. How can these people not ask about their future?". Journalists did not ignore the topic of ensuring security and existing threats. "I want to remind you that military actions are taking place on the territory of Ukraine.
