The Commander-in-Chief of the PMR Armed Forces took part in the solemn ceremony dedicated to the 62 militia officers’ graduation. The event was held on the parade ground of the Tiraspol Law Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic named after M.I. Kutuzov.
“Guys, you have chosen not the easiest path in life of course. I can tell you this for sure, but probably one of the most correct. It consists in the fact that you devote your life to the protection of law and order, both citizens and the state. This is a worthy choice for every man", the PMR President noted, wishing the graduates success in their service.
The President presented diplomas of higher professional education to the best graduates of the institute.
It was noted during the solemn event that the history of the educational institution goes back three decades. We started with the Training Center established in 1991 at the Tiraspol City Department of Internal Affairs. Then there was a militia school, a school of internal affairs, a higher college of law. University status was awarded in 2003. Today the institute trains professional personnel not only for law enforcement agencies, but also for civil service specialists.
Not only young people, but also girls have been accepted as cadets since 2018. 3500 graduates have been educated during the existence of the educational institution. Today, about three hundred cadets and five hundred students of various forms of education are at the Tiraspol Law Institute.
“The prospects for graduates of the Tiraspol Law Institute are quite good. To date, many leaders of our state, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and other power departments graduated from this particular educational institution. The Tiraspol Law Institute has truly become a cadre training unit”, said Vadim Krasnoselsky.
