Vadim Krasnoselsky congratulated the Pridnestrovian sportsmen on their successful appearance at the school sports festival

They talked about sports today at the presidential executive office and also sang about sports. The President was visited by the Pridnestrovian team, which had recently returned from Moscow – a participant in the XI International School Sports Festival and the author and performer of the anthem of our team Evgeny Avramov. More than fifty people gathered in the conference hall: the team in full force – athletes, coaches, accompanying persons, as well as officials who were involved in organizing the trip. The initiator of the meeting was Vadim Krasnoselsky.

Welcoming the guests, the President congratulated the team, which brought six medals, on their successful demonstration and thanked them for the worthy representation of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic, emphasizing that he personally and the whole country were proud of the young people.

The head of the team Nikolay Mytsykov said that the team was assembled from schoolchildren from different towns and districts of the republic. These are students from 23 general education institutions of Pridnestrovie. All of them are professional athletes: basketball, volleyball, mini-football, freestyle and Greco-Roman wrestling, table tennis, and chess. These are the areas in which the festival participants competed. They shared their impressions with the PMR President today. They talked not only about the sports battles, but also about the cultural program that was organized for them in Moscow. This trip to the Russian capital for many was the first.

The current participation of the PMR team in the Moscow school sports festival is the second. They made a successful debut last year. They took into account their first experience and worked on their mistakes in preparation for the 2024 competition. 90% of the team's composition was renewed this year. This is primarily due to age restrictions. It was noted that the organizers did not have a single complaint about the Pridnestrovian team. The group in general was distinguished by the discipline and good manners of the young people.

The President was presented with a set of uniform of the Pridnestrovian team. Vadim Krasnoselsky promised to wear it for rowing training. The athletes were given gift sets as a keepsake of the meeting with the President. They contained among other things the book "The Tank Crew Member Fate" about the events of the Great Patriotic War, told based on the story of one hero. "Life is a struggle. You have accomplished your small feat in the name of the Pridnestrovian people. This book is also about the feat of a young man. It teaches how to win," Vadim Krasnoselsky noted.
