Vadim Krasnoselsky visited the Representative Office of Pridnestrovie in Moscow

Mandatory item in the working schedule of the President when visiting the Russian capital is a visit to the Representative Office of Pridnestrovie in Moscow. Today, the President of Pridnestrovie met with representatives of the Representative Office and talked with compatriots living in Russia.

The Head of the Pridnestrovian Representative Office Leonid Manakov told Vadim Krasnoselsky about the most frequent appeals from citizens. According to Leonid Manakov, more than half of them are somehow related to obtaining citizenship - Russian or Pridnestrovian.

Regarding requests for Pridnestrovian passports, the President instructed the Head of the Representation to accept these applications and send all materials to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic for further decision-making.

Another important problem voiced during the meeting is the issue of recognition of the Pridnestrovian documents.

Often, representatives of Pridnestrovie in Moscow are contacted by citizens who, for a number of reasons, live in Russia, but would like to return home to Pridnestrovie. Representative office employees inform compatriots about how things are going in the republic, what is being done in social, economic and other fields, what professions are in demand in Pridnestrovie today, and what social programs are in place to support the population.

The representative office began its work in January 2019. Over the past time, about seven hundred people came here - Pridnestrovian citizens living or temporarily in the territory of the Russian Federation.
