One of the destination points of the presidential inspection to the rural educational institutions of the Kamenka district is the general education school-kindergarten in the village of Podoyma. Problems and infrastructure plans – as in many institutions. They told in the school administration that the roof over the educational building has been repaired, but the kindergarten is waiting for roofing work. The adjacent territory is being landscaped now – the school yard is being paving with paving slabs. They ask to concrete the remaining untidy section of the access road. The catering department of the Podoyma school needs repair and re-equipment. The plans for the future include the street sports ground modern equipment. Vadim Krasnoselsky insists that it should be combined, always with a rubberized coating. The material for it is locally produced, there will be no difficulties with delivery. The PMR President considers that such multidisciplinary sports zones should be in every village, and are available not only to schoolchildren, but also to everyone who wishes to join physical culture and an active lifestyle.
Vadim Krasnoselsky asked about the fullness of the educational institution. There are 36 pupils in kindergarten groups, 80 pupils attend the school. The PMR President was told about the achievements of Podoyma schoolchildren, noting that they had won numerous prizes in regional and republican competitions and Olympiads. A significant aspect for the administration: all 26 graduates of the last three academic years are now pursuing higher education. Another interesting fact: the school is Moldavian, but Russian classes were also opened as needed. The President talked not only with the leadership of the educational institution, but also with the students. The educational process and the school menu was discussed.
