The PMR President held in Rybnitsa a meeting with deputies of the Supreme Council and city council, the leadership of structural units of the state administration and representatives of unitary enterprises of the region. The extended conversation was initiated by the President. Vadim Krasnoselsky practices this kind of communication in order to possess reliable information about the situation on the ground, to know what worries the leadership and residents of cities and regions of the republic. Vadim Krasnoselsky invited the interlocutors to discussion held in the State Administration of the Rybnitsa District and the city of Rybnitsa.
They talked during the meeting about foreign policy, directions, dynamics and results of interaction with Moldova, Ukraine, Russia, the course of the negotiation process, its productivity and prospects for revitalization. The President was asked about the topic of working conversations with representatives of the Russian government, as well as about the details of a recent meeting with the Moldovan leadership. Particular attention was paid to the banking issue.
Vadim Krasnoselsky noted that this issue remains one of the most controversial on the negotiation agenda. Its discussion continues not only with the Moldovan side, but also with other participants in the 5 + 2 format.
The meeting participants raised the gas issue, talked about investments and Russian citizenship for Pridnestrovians, discussed the importance of preserving schools in rural areas. Not ignored the theme of creating new jobs. They exchanged views on the introduction and development of the dual education system, designed to attract young people to the real sector of the economy. Several questions from the audience concerned agriculture. Vadim Krasnoselsky emphasized that he assigns the agro-industrial complex an important role in the development of the country's economy, noting that the Pridnestrovian farmers are able to fully provide the republic with agricultural food. Today, the agricultural potential is far from fully utilized: vegetable growing and meat and dairy production should gain momentum, the President said. Entrepreneurs working in these sub-sectors, the state provides additional preferences. Among the measures to support agricultural producers, the President named the application of a single agricultural tax, soft loans, reduced cost of water for irrigation, subsidized milk supplies. It was also about land reclamation. The President was asked about the progress in agreements with Moscow on the implementation of the program for the development of the Pridnestrovian reclamation complex. Vadim Krasnoselsky said that the preparatory phase has been completed, the program has been developed and is located in the relevant Russian ministry. He emphasized that he personally maintains contact with the Minister of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, Yuri Patrushev, and plans to meet with him to discuss current issues of the Pridnestrovian-Russian interaction during the next trip to Moscow.
Residents of Rybnitsa living in the industrial sector are concerned about the environment. A lot of discussions today are related to the activities of the Rybnitsa cement plant. Deputies talk about the growing number of complaints from the local population. Vadim Krasnoselsky noted that, based on the appeals of citizens coming to him, he raised the issue of environmental safety before the leadership of the RCP. Given that the tension has not been removed, the President decided to conduct a comprehensive audit with the participation of the PMR Prosecutor's Office and environmental services. On behalf of the President, an audit will be carried out soon.
Participants of the meeting discussed and infrastructural changes - current and future. The President shared his impressions of visiting a number of facilities that are being repaired both at the expense of local funds and with money allocated by the state under the capital investment program. They talked about the need to pay more attention to the landscaping of settlements and the creation of recreational areas. The President recalled that, over two years, 340 school facilities, kindergartens, cultural, sports, healthcare facilities, infrastructure facilities, utilities, communications, roads, playgrounds, parks were repaired and built with funds from the capital investment fund.
Vadim Krasnoselsky said that the priority of the current and 2020 years is the establishment of a health system. In 2021, in addition to this direction, the capital investment program will cover the cultural sphere to a greater extent. Rural recreation centers require special attention and investment, Vadim Krasnoselsky noted, emphasizing their importance for preserving villages and educating young people. Vadim Krasnoselsky concluded the conversation with core groups of the Rybnitsa district - with people who are responsible for his improvement and development.
