Vadim Krasnoselsky honored the memory of the decossackization policy victims

The republic's leadership and Pridnestrovian Cossacks took part in a wreath-laying ceremony and memorial service held at the Church of the New Martyrs and Confessors of the Russian Church in Tiraspol. Prayers were offered for the repose of the souls of the victims of the decossackization policy, which claimed at least a million lives in 1919 and the following years. The official directive at the time prescribed the extermination of the Cossacks as a class and their individual members, thereby legitimizing their persecution, oppression, and murder. Vadim Krasnoselsky initiated the inclusion of a Day of Remembrance for the Victims of Cossack Repression in the calendar of commemorative dates in 2024.
