Vadim Krasnoselsky announced the Message of the PMR President to public and administrative authorities

The PMR President held an extended meeting. He announced via videoconference the Message of the President of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic to public and administrative authorities. This is essentially setting key goals for the year. The President was listened online to not only by leaders, but also by teams of government agencies, ministries, departments, services, and the media. Vadim Krasnoselsky briefly summed up the results of the past year before starting to outline the main directions of upcoming activities. He spoke about the fact that the country lived through 2023 under conditions of external economic and political pressure, strengthening of blockade measures on the part of Moldova, about problems with the export of products and the import of socially significant goods, about the continuing relevance of the banking sector and the simple “5+2” format. The President recalled that this is not the first time that Moldova takes advantage of difficult external circumstances, aggravating the situation of the Pridnestrovians.

Vadim Krasnoselsky said that 2023 was dedicated to agriculture, rural areas and rural tourism in Pridnestrovie, and the new year was dedicated to family and family values. He focused on the fact that social obligations were fulfilled by the state fully and in a timely manner.

Vadim Krasnoselsky recalled that the life of the republic is organized in accordance with the provisions of the Development Strategy of Pridnestrovie until 2026. The country will adhere to the course prescribed in it in the coming year. The main principles and goals that Pridnestrovie strives to achieve: political stability, economic self-sufficiency, social justice. Blocks of departmental tasks are traditionally collected under these headings. Regional policies and recommendations to the legislative body are usually singled out by the President.

It is planned in the second part of the extended meeting to sum up the results of the Year of the agro-industrial complex, rural areas and rural tourism (2023) and outline a plan of events within the framework of the Year of Family and Family Values (2024).
