Vadim Krasnoselsky addressed words of support to the leadership and people of South Ossetia

The address of the PMR President Vadim Krasnoselsky on the occasion of the 17th anniversary of the beginning of Georgia's military aggression against South Ossetia reads: "The 8th of August, 2008. The mournful date in the history of South Ossetia, when the silence of a peaceful night was destroyed by volleys of artillery fire from Georgian security forces. War it is death, it is a catastrophe no matter how long it lasted – days, years, decades, it is devastation, it is broken destinies. Each life cut short by a deadly weapon is a tragedy of an individual family and the entire country. We bow our heads in a sign of deepest respect, gratitude, sorrow and eternal memory of the defenders of the South Ossetian land". 

Vadim Krasnoselsky assured, addressing the leadership and residents of South Ossetia, that the Pridnestrovian people understand and share their pain. The PMR President paid attention to the contribution of Russian peacekeepers to the cause of maintaining peace both in South Ossetia and in Pridnestrovie.
