Vadim Krasnoselsky on Pridnestrovian service personnel: "You are part of the Pridnestrovian people, one of its best components".

A ceremonial meeting dedicated to the 35th anniversary of the creation of the PMR Armed Forces was held at the Palace of the Republic. The PMR President Vadim Krasnoselsky arrived to congratulate veterans, current, and future service personnel.

The main part of the event was preceded by a cancellation ceremony for commemorative postage stamps in the "35 Years of the PMR Armed Forces" series. The "Pridnestrovian Mark" publishing house issued 400 copies each of the following stamps: "Presentation of the Battle Banner", "Taking the Military Oath", "Military Parade (Archive Photo)", "Military Parade (Modern Photo)", "Shooter", "Honor Guard Member", "Special Forces Soldier", "Armored Personnel Column", and "Tank Column". The preconditions, history, formation, and current status of the Pridnestrovian army were discussed in a film prepared for the anniversary by the departmental press service. The PMR Defense Minister Oleg Obruchkov continued the discussion. The head of the ministry recalled that the decision to create the Republican Guard, later transformed into the Armed Forces, was made on September 6, 1991 – during a period of clear danger of the use of military force by the Republic of Moldova. Oleg Obruchkov focused on the events in 1992. A moment of silence was observed in memory of the fallen defenders of Pridnestrovie.

Commander-in-Chief Vadim Krasnoselsky addressed the participants of the celebratory event and through them the entire personnel of the Armed Forces of the PMR with a welcoming and congratulatory speech.

The most distinguished servicemen were awarded state and departmental awards. Prepared by the General Staff Orchestra under the direction of People's Artist of the PMR, Colonel Vitaly Voynov a celebratory concert was held following the ceremonial meeting dedicated to the 35th anniversary of the Armed Forces of the PMR.
