Abkhazia and South Ossetia celebrate the 17th anniversary of the recognition of independence today. Congratulations on this occasion to the leadership and peoples of the republics were sent by the President of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic Vadim Krasnoselsky. He called the date of August 26, 2008 a triumph of historical justice, a significant confirmation of the results of the long-term struggle for freedom, as well as evidence of the courage and fortitude of the people who managed to defend their own sovereign path.
"Your country is developing confidently, strengthening public administration institutions, modernizing infrastructure, creating conditions for economic growth and increasing the reliability of the social sphere. Particular attention is paid to preserving national identity and the sacred memory of the past of Apsny. The destinies of our peoples are in many ways similar. "Pridnestrovie and Abkhazia share the values of respect for traditions, love for the Motherland, and the desire for justice and peace," says the congratulation addressed to the President of the Republic of Abkhazia Badre Gunba.
