The initiative to launch an affordable housing program for public sector employees belongs to the PMR President Vadim Krasnoselsky. Two years ago, the task was set to “revive” the long-term construction throughout the republic, to complete the construction that had begun ten years ago and hopelessly was stopped, changing, if necessary, the initial projects. The form of implementation is joint funding of construction (the state and members of the housing cooperative are partners). It is planned by 2021 to commission more than six hundred apartments - in Tiraspol, Bendery, Grigoriopol, Slobodzeya, Rybnitsa, Dnestrovsk. Today, the President handed the chairman of the cooperative “Polyus” and in his person to the first new settlers, a symbolic key to a multi-story apartment building in 23, Benderskaya Street.
“Everything begins with housing including family. I really want this house to be full of happiness, children's laughter, so that it is convenient for living. A year ago, unfinished houses spoiled the view and many thought about how to demolish, disassemble them, no one thought about how to complete, to equip in order to give people housing. I am glad that I have like-minded people who got enthusiastic over the idea. A year has passed (this is a very short period of time), and we are commissioning the first house. I think this is the right way. Otherwise, we will not keep our children when they grow up, here in Pridnestrovie. If there is a desire, we will surely achieve everything, the main thing is to work. I want to express my gratitude to all those who participate in these significant social projects, who build housing for people”, said Vadim Krasnoselsky, expressing gratitude to everyone who participates in the implementation of the socially significant project for the construction of affordable housing.
Ten floors, two entrances, eighty apartments - thanks to the participation of the state and concessional lending, 80 Pridnestrovian families acquired the treasured square meters of their own living space. Among the new settlers there are 60 military personnel and twenty workers of other budgetary spheres.
The apartments were commissioned with actively involved in their cosmetic design. The President was convinced of this personally by examining the premises. Vadim Krasnoselsky talked with new tenants of the house and representatives of contracting organizations working at this facility. The President noted that building a house is part of a comprehensive work. The work on improvement of the territory adjacent to the house continues. Children's and sports grounds are installed. Workout complex is a gift from the President. Vadim Krasnoselsky considers gardening as an important element of the improvement. First thujas have already been planted near the porches, one of them personally by the President.
