On behalf of the President the Minister of Agriculture and Natural Resources of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic Oleg Diligul informed about the results of the Year of Agro-Industrial Complex, Rural Territories and Rural Tourism in Pridnestrovie. The year 2023 was declared as such by presidential decree. The speaker said that the planned 87 events were presented in three areas corresponding to the declared theme of the year: agro-industrial complex, rural areas, and rural tourism.
The first block includes measures to support agricultural enterprises, as well as those aimed at restoring the reclamation complex. 20.7 million rubles were allocated from the republican budget from the PMR Agriculture Support Fund in 2023, from the PMR Reclamation Complex Development Fund 13 million for for repair work and 12 million for the purchase of equipment, Oleg Diligul said.
Several cultural centers were overhauled, sports grounds were improved, school buildings and local administrations were renovated. Increased attention was paid to the improvement of recreational areas, parks, and public gardens during the reporting period, as for the development of villages. Much work has been done to replace window units in medical and social institutions.
The minister spoke about three new weekend routes in rural areas (“Kitskany – Ternovka”: 7 places, 2 days, 24 km; “Zozulany – Vykhvatyntsi – Goyany”: 8 places, 2 days, 88 km; “Stroentsy – Rashkov – Valya-Adynka”, 18 places, 3 days, 50 km), opening of the House of Crafts and an open-air museum in the village of Goyany, Dubossary district, as well as development of water tourism and holding the championship "Dniester-2023", speaking about the development of domestic tourism and the inclusion of rural settlements in this area.
Vadim Krasnoselsky noted the significance of the work carried out and aimed at its continuation.
