Intercentre Lux sewing and knitting production is involved in the provision of state needs related to the protection of citizens from the spread of the virus. The factory sews protective suits. This task has been set by the President. Today, the President, accompanied by the Head of the Coronavirus Prevention Operational Headquarters, visited the sewing industry. Anatoly Dzernovich presented samples. According to him, the design service, which had only recently been working for Russian order to create a collection of fashionable clothes in the spring of 2021, in conditions when the whole world is opposed to pandemic, switched to improving the patterns of protective suit. The final version is approved by the PMR Ministry of Health and put into production. The hood of the protective suit is thought out as a separate element, which is convenient to put on and take off, while it provides maximum protection due to the visibly lowered collar. Gloves are worn over the cuffs. Reusable suits are made in four colors from fabric produced at the Tirotex factory in Tiraspol. Two hundred units of products are ready to sew each day. The initial need for 1250 sets will be provided within 4-5 days, Anatoly Dzernovich assured. The President, addressing Ruslan Mova, emphasized that first of all it was necessary to provide protective suit for medical facilities of an infectious nature and hospitals.
According to Anatoly Dzernovich, the staff respect the task set by the country's leadership and is ready to work seven days a week if necessary. Such a need may arise due to the fact that not all seamstresses are involved in production today: some of them are forced to stay at home with minor children in connection with the state of emergency declared in the republic.
The President thanked the staff of Intercentre Lux for their understanding and significant contribution to the work to prevent the spread of viral infection in the country.
