The construction of a sports complex is underway in Dubossary. The project is long-awaited. The city does not have a multidisciplinary sports facility. Local residents and the district leadership have been raising this issue for many years. The decision got off the ground with the launch of the capital investment program. It was decided to locate the facility in the city center – next to the stadium and table tennis school, which will allow the formation of a single sports zone. The project provides for two halls – a gymnastics hall and a games hall (mini-football, volleyball, basketball), as well as a 25-meter indoor swimming pool. The metal frame of the building for the department of game sports has been assembled at the moment. A transition gallery, an administrative building and a gymnastics hall will appear next, and only then they will take on the premises for the swimming pool, the President was told today, who visited the construction site. Vadim Krasnoselsky drew attention to the fact that the project of the first building does not provide for changing rooms and hygiene rooms. It was assumed that all the accompanying infrastructure would be located in another building. The President considers that this is wrong: it is inconvenient firstly, and secondly it will postpone the commissioning of the finished hall until all work on the construction of the sports complex is fully completed. Two toilets and two changing rooms will be located under the stands, according to the recommendation of the President. The layout allows it. The participants of the off-site meeting discussed the further construction plan.
