The opening ceremony of socially significant facility was prepared on grand scale - to match the project. The construction of the center took three years, but the wait was much longer. Dubossary has been talking for a long time about the urgent need to create a specialized platform where children with special needs could not only improve their health, but also fully socialize. The institution as such functioned in the city, but its pupils were located in a small building, poorly adapted to the needs of children with special needs. In the very first year of implementation of the state program of the Capital Investment Fund, the purpose of which is to update the social infrastructure, it included the construction of a new complex of buildings for the Dubossary center. It was supported at all stages of the project's implementation by the PMR President Vadim Krasnoselsky, for whom the creation of comfortable conditions for the stay and development of people with special needs and their maximum involvement in the life of society is one of the most important directions of the state social policy. The President has repeatedly visited the construction site of the future center, observing how the buildings are raised, the premises are equipped, the territory is being improved. Today the President took part in the solemn ceremony of the official opening of completely new center that has been functioning for almost a decade and a half. Addressing the participants in the celebration, the President noted that with the opening of the center, the dream of children, their parents, educators, heads of the institution and the city and personally the President and the citizen of Pridnestrovie came true. Vadim Krasnoselsky expressed gratitude to Svetlana Zavtur for her personal involvement, perseverance, willpower and faith in the success of the project. The words of the President's gratitude are addressed to the parents of children in need of constant and special care, the city leadership and the Government. According to Vadim Krasnoselsky, it is in such institutions that the soul of society and the state lives; the rest is rather gloss. The President noted that the work on expanding the network of comfortable and adapted to the needs of people with special needs facilities will continue. The President presented medals, certificates and letters of thanks for his contribution to the implementation of socially significant project.
Cutting the symbolic ribbon at the entrance to the new building, the participants of the ceremony took a tour of almost all rooms, each of them is fully equipped based on functionality. A modern cozy dining room, a computer room, a treatment room, sensory and study rooms, art therapy rooms, social adaptation rooms, a therapeutic therapy department with an equipped hydropathic facility (swimming pool, hydro-baths, Charcot's douche), a physiotherapy room, and a gym hall - all these are the realities of the new center, which, according to its Head Svetlana Zavtur, surpassed the dreams. There is also an assembly hall in the institution, on the stage of which they promise to present a theatrical performance in the near future. A sleeping block has been thought out to the smallest detail, in which there are rooms for permanent stay of 56 wards of the center and for children who will come here for a two-three-week rehabilitation course from other cities and regions of the republic. We are talking about children who are diagnosed with autism, cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, epilepsy, mental retardation. A defectologist, speech therapist, psychologist, physical therapy methodologist and other employees of the institution will start working in new conditions in a week.

Today, the work of a new boiler house, which will provide the center with heat and hot water, has started. The object is not only important, but also interesting. The President was told that this is Pridnestrovian-Russian project. The boiler room is fully automated and controlled remotely. Its dimensions are noticeably smaller than usual, while the performance is much higher. Another significant aspect is the cost-effectiveness of Russian-German equipment, which was used for the first time in Pridnestrovie.
