One and a half dozen participants of the Congress were given the floor during the almost four-hour meeting. The foreign affairs chief, the minister of economic development, parliamentarians and representatives of local councils voiced current information about the state of affairs in the country and the impact of the blockade measures on the part of Moldova, their attitude to what is happening and proposals for a way out of the current situation.
The result of the VII Congress of Deputies of all levels of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic was the adoption of a resolution and declaration, the text of which spells out the need to appeal to the Federation Council and the State Duma of the Russian Federation, to the UN Secretary General, participants in the “5+2” international format, the OSCE, the Interparliamentary Assembly of States Parties CIS, the Parliament of the European Union and the International Committee of the Red Cross. All recipients will receive the documents in the nearest future. An important aspect: decisions were made unanimously by the Congress delegates.
