Participants of the video conference discussed the current state of affairs

Special attention among the reports presented by the heads of state administrations during the video conference was paid this time to the nationwide cleanup day. It took place at the end of last week in all cities and districts of Pridnestrovie. For example, over 1750 employees of municipal institutions, organizations, and businesses simultaneously participated in the cleanup and improvement of numerous and varied city locations (Borisovskoye Cemetery, the city beach, the health trail, the area adjacent to the railway tracks, the Bendery-2 station, Oktyabrsky Park (embankment), the summer cinema, pedestrian bridges, overpasses, and others) in Bendery. High school students joined the cleanup day, said Roman Ivanchenko. He reported that 105 oak trees were planted throughout the city. The saplings were received from the Kitskany forestry. The work carried out is extremely important given the reduction in funding for public works, and this practice of community cleanup will continue throughout the year, the mayor of Bendery emphasized. The mayor of Tiraspol addressed the difficulties associated with the shortage of funds allocated for cleaning city streets and courtyards. According to Ilona Tyuryaeva, the capital can currently afford only four pieces of equipment and 90 employees for these purposes, while the required number is 12 vehicles and 190 specialists. Dubossary faces a serious problem with its solid waste landfill being overflowing. Its capacity has been exhausted, and mountains of garbage tower over the area, causing the slightest wind to blow the stored waste across nearby fields. According to the Government Chairman Vitaly Neagu, options for the location of a new Dubossary solid waste landfill will be proposed within two weeks. The President, government representatives, Supreme Council deputies, and heads of state administrations raised issues related to the formation and use of budget funds earmarked for improvements.

Meeting participants discussed the current state of affairs in various areas of city and district life. Work plans for the week were outlined.
