Regular festival took place in the Alexander Nevsky Park in Bendery. The topic of the current one is winemaking. The organizers aim to remind that viticulture and wine production are traditional directions of the national economy for the Pridnestrovian region. Winegrowers and winemakers as well as entrepreneurs representing related industries gathered at the walls of the Bendery Fortress. Participants came from all over the republic. Themed farmsteads and exhibitions were organized, master classes and interactive games were held, photo zones have been decorated. There were performances of Pridnestrovian creative teams.
The PMR President with his wife was among the guests of the festival. Svetlana and Vadim Krasnoselsky visited various locations, talked with entrepreneurs, with many of whom the President met more than once in a working environment. They discussed the prospects for development of individual enterprises – from small farms to well-known on the world market Pridnestrovian producers, talked about the development of viticulture and agriculture in general. They talked about effective cooperation between representatives of various sectors of the national economy of the republic, about the advantages of an integrated approach to agriculture, about the quality of Pridnestrovian agricultural products and sales markets. The topic of public-private partnership was not ignored. The importance of the "Buy Pridnestrovian!" project was noted within the framework of which a festival of wine and grapes was organized. Residents of Bendery and guests of the city were the visitors, they talked about how important it was that there were platforms where it became possible to hold such bright events.
Vadim Krasnoselsky emphasized that this event was significant not only from an economic point of view – the development of viticulture and winemaking, but also for the preservation and popularization of folk traditions. The President recalled the multinationality of Pridnestrovie, noting that culture, traditions, cuisine, creativity of the peoples living in the republic, each of which is an integral part of the Pridnestrovian people were harmoniously intertwined today in the Bendery park. The PMR President was also asked about family traditions and values.
The wine festival continued. The program included summing up the results of the competition "Master of Wine-2021", as well as awarding the winners of the drawing and painting competition "I want to live in Pridnestrovie. Looking into the future” that was held within the framework of the Year of Youth of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic.
