Vadim Krasnoselsky listened to information on the situation in cities and regions of the republic presented during video conference by Heads of state administrations. The situation on the ground is stable. The vital activity of the settlements is provided as planned, the President was informed. They talked about the main events and activities of the past week and outlined plans.
One of the first questions raised by Vadim Krasnoselsky is the condition of children injured in a traffic accident at the exit from Chisinau. The children are pupils of the Bendery Palace of Culture named after Tkachenko. Roman Ivanchenko said that two out of six injured still need medical care in hospital. The rest are at home. The President, noting that the children and their parents should be supported, gave relevant instructions to the Head of the Presidential Administration and the PMR Minister of Health.
The President asked the head of the capital about progress in the construction and equipping of a wooden church, built in the name of the new martyrs and confessors, and the museum of victims of political repression. They will be part of the memorial complex laid down a year ago at the place of mass execution of citizens. The opening of the church and museum is scheduled for October 30. This day, there will also be a funeral ceremony for the reburial of the exhumed remains of the dead. A meeting, the purpose of which is to assess the readiness of the facilities for opening, is scheduled for October 15. The President noted that special attention should be paid to the improvement of the territory adjacent to the complex.
In the near future, Tiraspol residents are laying a stone in the foundation of the future monument to Catherine the Great. This event is dedicated to City Day. The event will be held on October 14.
Bendery - tomorrow's birthday - began to celebrate on Sunday. Celebrations dedicated to the 611 anniversary of the first annalistic mention of the city began in the Alexander Nevsky Park and the citadel of the fortress. The winners of the annual Bendery Pedestal city contest were honored here and awards were presented to the most worthy residents of the city, said Roman Ivanchenko, the Head of the local administration. According to him, the festival dedicated to the city’s birthday lasted in the park of Alexander Nevsky until late in the evening. The so-called Turkish bazaar, interactive and photo zones were deployed, thematic master classes were held. Gaming and sports sectors, including extreme were organized for children and the youth. Musical accompaniment of the festival was provided by the Orchestra of the Main Headquarters of the PMR Ministry of Defense, vocal-instrumental ensemble Dniester, artists from Bendery, guests from Rybnitsa and Dubossary - Anna Odobescu, participant of Eurovision-2019, and famous singer Ionel Istrati. In the evening, a salute, which was preceded by a fiery pyrotechnic show, lit the sky above the pre-holiday Bendery.
The President noted the quality of the preparation of the celebration, emphasizing that residents of Bendery have a special creative approach to organizing cultural events. The President reminded of his promise to the heads of all cities and regions of the republic to take example of Bendery into account, to equip recreation areas and remember that rest, like work, should be well organized. The President also spoke about the safety of citizens participating in mass events. Its provision is the task not only of law enforcement agencies, but also of local administrations, emphasized Vadim Krasnoselsky.
Vadim Krasnoselsky informed the interlocutors about the upcoming expanded meeting with the heads of state administrations and the Government, which will be held at the Presidential Executive Office, instructing to prepare questions for inclusion in the agenda. In addition, the President aimed at actively participating in the work on the draft budget 2020.
