Heads of the legislative and executive branches of power participate in the traditional start of the week meeting of the President with the Heads of State Administrations. The decision was made in the course of the working discussion that the heating season for the population will be completed at the end of the week: the heat supply to residential buildings will be turned off on Friday. Centrally heated premises in social institutions will be until Tuesday, the 26th of April.

The Heads of cities and districts informed Vadim Krasnoselsky about the main aspects of the life of towns and districts of the republic, the events of the past week and plans for the current one. Events dedicated to the 78th anniversary of the liberation from the German-Romanian invaders were held in many localities. Volunteer Saturday works are held everywhere as part of the month of landscaping. The work is actively carried out within the framework of the capital investment program. A large-scale renovation in kindergartens 44 and 37 in Tiraspol, the construction of a museum quarter in the center of the capital, the expansion and planting of greenery on the road sections along Pravda and Yunosti streets, and the improvement of Gagarin Boulevard. Progress in clearing deadwood in the arboretum and the fate of the future sports and leisure zone in a residential area opposite the Ministry of Finance of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic was discussed. They are preparing to open a reconstructed pool in Rybnitsa. Three schools, a kindergarten, a House of Culture and a summer cinema are being renovated in the Slobodzeya district. All objects, except for the last one, are expected to be put into operation this summer. A fountain is operating in the center of Slobodzeya. They decided to wait until the onset of warm weather with the launch of the pedestrian at the request of local residents, mostly parents of young children. The light and musical fountain will come to life next Friday in Bendery. A celebration will be organized on this occasion. They will start laying the rubberized coating of sports fields in the Bendery Theoretical Lyceum, in the Borisovsky and Solnechny public gardens today or tomorrow. Chairman of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic Alexander Korshunov conveyed positive feedback from park visitors, and also made a proposal to install video surveillance cameras to ensure the safety of the park infrastructure. The issue of developing the Safe City system and its financing was raised in this context. The President considers it expedient to direct 100% of the funds collected by the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the form of fines for these purposes, without allocating money from the budget. A corresponding legislative initiative will be prepared.
The meeting participants discussed plans for the Easter and May holidays. It was noted that worship services can be held in the premises of temples in compliance with the mask regime and distancing standards, or in open areas at churches without quarantine restrictions. Vadim Krasnoselsky focused on the necessity of intensifying work to bring the burial sites, cemeteries and memorial sites, into proper shape. As for the events planned for the 9th of May, The President of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic considers it necessary to observe the traditions of celebrating the Victory Day. Preparations are underway for holding a military parade on the central square of Tiraspol. Residents and guests of the capital upon its completion will march with the Immortal Regiment to the Memorial of Glory, where a wreath and flower laying ceremony will take place. The practice of holding dugouts will resume after the pandemic break. This year it will be organized on May 9, and not on the eve of the Great Victory Day, as it was in previous years. The venue for the dugout shelter mass event will be one of the locations of the Catherine Park in Tiraspol. Concert and entertainment events will also be organized here. Vadim Krasnoselsky emphasized that the celebrations dedicated to Victory Day and designed to honor the memory of the dead and express gratitude to the living veterans should be organized as before in all cities and regions of the republic. In addition, the President of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic considers it necessary to use the successful experience of the past two years, when mobile concert venues moved around the settlements. The PMR President emphasized that no veteran should be left without the deserved attention.
