Vadim Krasnoselsky, opening the working meeting, expressed his gratitude for the preparation, organization and holding of festive events, which are rich in the first half of May, both secular holidays and church celebrations. The President noted the activity and high civic responsibility that the Pridnestrovians showed the day before – on the Day of the Great Victory. Inhabitants of the republic on May 9 went to memorial places all day long to pay tribute to the memory of the defenders of the Fatherland, the soldiers-liberators who died during the Great Patriotic War despite the decision that there would be no centralized marches, mass events, rallies. Mass graves, memorial complexes, pedestals of monuments in all settlements of the republic were decorated with fresh flowers, which citizens brought on their own initiative - at the behest of their hearts, the heads of administrations of all cities and regions of Pridnestrovie noted. Concerts were held everywhere, mobile creative platforms worked.

Vadim Krasnoselsky noted the measures taken to put the territories of cemeteries in order for the Easter holidays and memorial days. President emphasized at the same time that the work to maintain burial places in the proper form should be systemic. A number of instructions were given related to the improvement of some sections of city cemeteries. In addition it was about the mass graves of the defenders and local burials that require replacement of tombstones. The President instructed the heads to form lists of objects that need to be updated. An appropriate state program will be developed based on this information. The deadline for its implementation is until May 9, 2025 (the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory).

Progress in the design of work at the Kitskany bridgehead was discussed. Vadim Krasnoselsky recalled that the monument built on the site of the most important military historical events turned half a century old. It's time to ennoble and modernize the area around it. The President will hold a working meeting with specialists who will be responsible for bringing to life the idea of ​​creating a granite panorama at the base of the stela of the Kitskany bridgehead today.

Vadim Krasnoselsky plans in the near future to inspect the progress of work on the creation of a museum quarter (the Pridnestrovian State Museum of Local History) and the reconstruction of the Museum of the Bendery Tragedy. City leaders reported on the state of affairs during the meeting today. Demolition of dilapidated buildings completed in Tiraspol. Work is at the stage of interior decoration and furniture manufacturing for the exposition in Bendery. The opening of the renovated Museum of the Bendery Tragedy will be timed to coincide with the 30th anniversary of the tragic date – June 19.

Another offsite meeting planned by the President is on the campus of Pridnestrovian State University. This university facility requires increased attention. The contractors faced the problem of outdated utilities. A global replacement of all networks or the installation of separate mini-boilers for some buildings is required. The commission is considering options. The final decision will be made after discussion with the PMR President.

The replacement of communications caused a protracted repair of the roadway along the capital's Karl Liebknecht Street. The Head of Tiraspol explained that the new networks are deepened and give sufficient time for the soil to shrink before the asphalting procedure in order not to repeat the negative experience of previous years. Oleg Dovgopol said that work to expand sections of the road along Pravda and Odesskaya streets continues. It takes another 1.5-2 months to complete it.

They talked in the course of the meeting about the continuation of work on the objects of the park infrastructure of the settlements of the republic. The heads informed about the progress of work and plans for the near future. They talked about institutions being repaired under the Capital Investment Fund 2022 line. They focused on landscaping, paid attention to the topical issues of dilapidated, unused buildings and idle land. This is a matter not only of the improvement of settlements, but also of security, Vadim Krasnoselsky emphasized, noting that the solution to the problem should be of a legislative nature.
