The President held a video conference with the heads of state administrations of towns and regions of the republic. Heads of government agencies traditionally take part in such working discussions, which allows not only to exchange relevant information, but also to make decisions quickly.
The heads of state administrations informed about the state of affairs on the ground, the budgets revenues dynamics, current and expected expenditures, the social obligations fulfillment, the development programs implementation – municipal and republican. Each speaker focused separately on the Capital Investment Fund-2023 implementation. They reported on the activities carried out during the reporting period. The program was rich and varied, even despite the adjustments made by the weather conditions. In some settlements, cultural events, which were supposed to be held in open areas, were postponed due to windy and rainy weather. We are talking mainly about holiday programs dedicated to the Day of family, love and fidelity. They will be implemented on other days. The exact dates will be announced later – taking into account the holding of other previously planned events.
Vladimir Bychkov spoke about the consequences of bad weather. Headed by him region was hit by rain, hail and strong gusts of wind more than others. According to the speaker, from 10 to 70 mm of precipitation fell on Thursday in different settlements of the Kamenka district in half an hour. Two dozen emergency power outages were recorded. The largest ones are in Kamenka, Severinovka and Khrustovaya. 3500 households were temporarily without electricity in the city, both villages were completely disconnected from the electricity supply for several hours. The accidents were liquidated on the same day. Almost four dozen trees were blown away by the wind, nine roofs of multi-storey buildings were damaged. Repair work is almost completed at eight objects, another one requires serious investments, since more than a hundred sheets of slate were torn off the cooperative high-rise building. Materials were found. Funds were allocated for reconstruction. Negative consequences for private households are specified. So far, eight applications have been received. Many citizens eliminated the consequences on their own, Vladimir Bychkov stated following the results of the inspection tour of the district. There is a damaged equipment – 6 units: two cars in Kamenka, which were under a fallen spruce, as well as vehicles (tractors, an excavator and a car) that were in a transport lock-up garage, from the building of which the roof was blown away by the wind, as a result of which columns collapsed on the equipment. The main roads were cleared the same day, and work continues on the affected municipal areas.
The Head of Grigoriopol region informed about the consequences of another disaster. About forty hectares of arable land burned out as a result of the fire. Causes and perpetrators are being investigated. Vadim Krasnoselsky asked about compliance with fire safety standards at the scene of the emergency. He was interested in particular in the implementation of the fire safety survey standard. The dividing strip is at least 8 meters. Each sown sector is no more than 50 hectares. Both requirements were met.
Another topic raised during the meeting under the President is the situation with stray animals. In Slobodzeya, For example, Vasily Tishchenko noted that ten cases of dog attacks on citizens have been recorded only recently. Vadim Krasnoselsky instructed to hold a thematic meeting with the participation of all interested parties. The PMR President emphasized that the solution of the problem should be approached comprehensively. It is not enough to open an animal shelter. A multidisciplinary specialized center should function. The institution should be republican, the President considers.
The head of the Slobodzeya administration Vasily Tishchenko reported on the preliminary work carried out to organize a traffic circle in the area of the Foishor restaurant. Road construction work is expected to begin in three weeks. It is necessary to eliminate emergency trees in this area prior to this. Vadim Krasnoselsky urged not to delay the implementation of the project.
