The current COVID statistics were announced in the course of the meeting of the Operational Headquarters. 36064 samples of biomaterials from citizens suspected of being infected have been taken since the beginning of research for the presence of coronavirus in Pridnestrovie. 3045 cases of the disease were registered. To date, 596 people are undergoing treatment, and 162 are awaiting the test results. 69% recovered. 81 carriers of the virus died during the pandemic (mortality rate 2.7%). Everyone who did not cope with COVID-19 had serious comorbidities. At the same time, Vadim Krasnoselsky emphasized during the discussion that it is important to understand, if the coronavirus did not provoke a deterioration in their health, these citizens could live.
The workload of coronavirus hospitals is 42% today. Further training courses are being organized for doctors at coronavirus hospitals. Six-month supply of personal protective equipment was provided. The availability of anti-coronavirus medicines in abundance is constantly monitored. The Tiraspol COVID laboratory is preparing to open and operate around the clock. Cadres are trained for both laboratories. It was ordered to open branches of the laboratory carrying out the sampling of biomaterials at the capital's medical institution "Tiramed" that sends analyzes for research to the Moldovan commercial structure - points for sampling biomaterials in Bendery, Rybnitsa and Grigoriopol.
A preliminary calculation of material costs for the maintenance and treatment of COVID patients was carried out: depending on the complexity of the course of the disease - from 3,4 thousand to 4,9 thousand rubles per day. The effective treatment period is on average two weeks. These costs are now (at any source of infection of a citizen) borne by the state. In cases where the virus is brought from foreign tourist trips, it is unfair to carry out treatment at the expense of taxpayers, members of the Operational Headquarters consider. On the instructions of the President, the mechanism is being developed to insure citizens who go on vacation outside of Pridnestrovie in case they become infected with coronavirus.
