Vadim Krasnoselsky inspected the Bendery Solnechny square improvement works completion

Arrangement of recreational area in the "Solnechny" microdistrict of Bendery was one of the local residents' requests. The President instructed to improve not just a walking square, but an open sports and leisure complex on the site of the wasteland. 4.3 million rubles were allocated for the project implementation. The works are at the final stage, it will be finished today. The Head of Administration of Bendery Roman Ivanchenko said to Vadim Krasnoselsky in the course of the presidential inspection visit that the grand opening is scheduled for the 7th of May. According to him, pupils of sports sections in football and athletics will be trained on a systematic basis at the new site. In addition, the infrastructure will be used to conduct physical education lessons for local schoolchildren. The object will remain available for all lovers of sports and active pastime. The use of sports locations is supposed to be free of charge. The presence of artificial lighting will allow practicing in the evening until 22:00. The sports complex includes a football field 28 by 46 meters with Belarusian-made artificial surface, volleyball and basketball courts, a jumping pit, running tracks (two circular running tracks, 200 meters long each, and four shorter ones for running in a straight line along the stands). The running track surface was made in Tiraspol: the production of crumb rubber was launched in the capital based on the processing of used tires, the President was told. The Solnechny square has a workout area, outdoor exercise equipment, a well-equipped children's playground, tennis tables and gazebos for board games.

Vadim Krasnoselsky asked about further plans for landscaping the territory of the square. He recommended to decorate the slopes be with lavender next season. The issue of providing personnel for the care of the square was discussed. The President emphasized that any public facility requires constant attention. They focused upon the issue of citizens’ attitude to the created infrastructure. Vadim Krasnoselsky emphasized that it is necessary to rely not only and not so much on law enforcement agencies in this matter, but on local residents who should be interested in the safety of objects.

Speaking about future plans, Vadim Krasnoselsky noted that there should be six of seven such complexes in Tiraspol in the future, four or five in Bendery, two or three in other towns and districts of the republic.
