Heads of state administrations in the coming days will sum up the year

Vadim Krasnoselsky held a video conference with the heads of state administrations. The interlocutors discussed the situation on the ground. In general, the situation in the republic is regular. Having heard the reports, the President addressed clarifying questions to the heads, outlined some problematic issues, took an interest in their opinions and plans for resolving existing difficulties, gave a number of current instructions. Vadim Krasnoselsky reminded that the heads will have to report on the results of the year in the presence of parliamentarians representing the interests of the residents of a particular city or region in the Supreme Council and the chairmen of the local Councils. Report and discussion meetings will be held at the site of the Presidential Administration in the coming days.

The question that the heads should be ready to answer is the situation with the coverage of rural settlements. The solution of this socially significant problem is under control of the President: the corresponding task was set at the beginning of the year at an expanded meeting of the Government of the PMR. The priority is to organize the lighting of the central streets of villages and towns. The heads will have to inform the President about the existing needs and projected costs. The President called for the prudent use of the allocated funds.

They talked during the meeting in the form of a videoconference and on advances in the construction of cooperative housing for state employees. The heads of state administrations talked about concrete achievements. The President asked about the demand among the population, as well as about the pricing policy in each city and district. “Housing should be of high quality and as affordable as possible,” Vadim Krasnoselsky recalled his message. It was also about long-term construction projects that were not included in the housing and cooperative program initiated by the President. The President emphasized that there should not be any idle facilities: it is necessary to determine the owners, bring the documentation into proper condition and decide the fate of each unfinished building.

Another object that the President paid attention to is the Tiraspol gunpowder magazine. This is a significant place from a cultural and historical point of view, the President emphasized. He was interested in how the process of building a temple was progressing. According to the Head of the capital, preparatory work has been carried out. The object is planned to be commissioned in the first half of 2019. Vadim Krasnoselsky, noting that with the opening of the church, part of the cellar, which now houses the chapel, will be released, ordered to organize a museum of victims of political repression on this site. The President sees proper preservation of exhibits related to the tragic events of 1937, in the place where citizens were shot, whose bodies were exhumed and reburied last year. “Things and documents storing the memory of these terrible events, of specific people and their tragic fate should not be lost. They need to be preserved and presented to the public”, Vadim Krasnoselsky emphasized.
