The President in the course of the meeting of the Operational Headquarters for prevention of the spread of coronavirus asked about the readiness to vaccinate the population in the event of vaccine supply to the republic. According to Ruslan Mova, the main medical depot will be organized on the basis of the Republican Center for Hygiene and Epidemiology, equipped with a special freezer, cooling down to minus 25 degrees. Doctors will be the first to be vaccinated. There have been 5041 applications from healthcare workers wishing to be vaccinated against COVID-19. Training seminars on the procedure for conducting vaccinations will be held in the coming days. Representatives of WHO will take part in the lectures.
The upcoming spring holidays were discussed at the meeting under the President. The traditional Martisor festival will take place. The heads of state administrations and specialized services were instructed to develop an action plan taking into account the quarantine features of the situation. It is allowed to hold concerts and meetings - both in open areas and indoors, but with strict control over compliance with sanitary and epidemiological safety standards. Pridnestrovie will host a May military parade dedicated to Victory Day. The power structures have been instructed to train personnel and equipment. The final decision regarding the march of the Immortal Regiment and the organization of field kitchens on the 9th of May will be made closer to the holiday date - depending on the situation. Vadim Krasnoselsky considers it expedient to abandon these mass events in the current reality.
