The Head of the Operational Headquarters in the course of the meeting informed the President and colleagues that 32 cases of coronavirus among Pridnestrovians have been registered so far. 29 infected are in Slobodzeya hospital, one citizen of PMR with COVID-19 was hospitalized in a medical facility in Chisinau, two of them died. The hospital on the basis of the Slobodzeya republican clinical hospital received 56 people, four of them children. Today 13 patients were brought here, 28 were discharged. By the President’s decision, Igor Tostanovsky will act as chief physician of the Slobodzeya infectious diseases hospital. He is one of the volunteer doctors who volunteered to work in this institution.

Yesterday 1650 objects were disinfected centrally (from the very beginning of the implementation of this preventive measure, 11750 points were processed, 57.5 tons of disinfectant were consumed). Answering the President’s question about the progress in organizing laboratory studies of coronavirus samples in the PMR, the Head of the staff said that a specially created working group had returned from Chisinau, where consultations were held. The working group will need several days to draw conclusions about the possibility of conducting research on our own and formulate practical proposals.

The President asked about formation of personnel reserve of medical staff. Resuscitators are needed. Learning modules are running. Representatives of the Volga medical university were involved in the educational process, said Elena Kulichenko.
