The new state archive building was among the objects that the PMR President inspected today. The State Documents and Archives Management Service has long been in need of infrastructure upgrades. The service was allocated a two-story building five years ago. It needed major renovation. As the head of the PMR State Service for Documentation and Archives Management Zinaida Todorashko said, a year after replacing the roof was spent drying the building and cleaning it from mold, the spores of which are unacceptable in the premises where documents are stored. According to her, all premises are designed in accordance with the specifics of the institution – the project was developed and is being implemented with the participation and under the control of the management and employees of the State Service for Documentation and Archives Management. The usable area has been increased due to a landscaped basement. It will house archival storage. Special lighting is provided. It is necessary to manufacture specialized furniture, purchase safes and equipment, and improve the area adjacent to the institution. The team will have to accept and place about a million files – these are the archives of the highest government bodies of the republic.
The President discussed with the head of the capital's state administration, the head physician of the Republican Clinical Hospital and representatives of construction organizations progress in the implementation of projects related to updating the infrastructure of the hospital town. We inspected the building of the future catering unit. This is a two-story building. The area of each floor is 1200 square meters. Construction began last year. The current task is to complete all the rough work. Financing for two years is about 12 million rubles. The next stage – equipment – will be expensive, noted the head of the Republican Clinical Hospital, Igor Tostanovsky. Options are currently being discussed to select the optimal one.
The reconstruction of the building, which according to the project will house the hospital administration and simulation center, is also ongoing. This year’s task is to prepare the property for the so-called rough work.
Work will begin this year in the infectious disease department building – dismantling, replacing the roof, window and door units, and moving partitions. The project will continue in 2025. The preliminary cost is 30 million rubles. It is necessary to transfer the department to another building during the reconstruction. Participants in the offsite meeting discussed possible options for temporary accommodation, including outside the hospital town. The decision will be made after additional consultations. While inspecting the territory of the Republican Clinical Hospital, they talked about the need to organize parking spaces – both for employees and for patients of the hospital. There are certain ideas about its placement. Three points are proposed. These are preliminary developments so far.
The President visited as part of an inspection tour of socially significant facilities being repaired in the capital the building of municipal secondary general education correctional institution Number 2 – an institution for special children. This is also a transfer object. The bulk of the work has been completed by contractors. The facility will be put into operation this year. They plan to return children to the renovated walls of the correctional institution in the summer. The surrounding area is landscaped and equipped in accordance with the request of the team. The total cost of the project financed under the Capital investment fund program is about 8 million rubles.
The skating rink is another point on today’s inspection route. Oleg Dovgopol spoke about the work carried out by foreign specialists on the installation of the big top and equipment. The modernized sports and entertainment facility will receive visitors at temperatures up to +20 degrees. That is, the working period will be October – May. The remaining four months of downtime are not expected. The arena will be transformed from an ice arena into a sports arena. A plastic floor covering has been thought out that will allow the facility to be used for team sports. The room temperature in non-climatic months will be maintained at 20-22 degrees using air conditioners. The administration of the skating rink and the city expect that the skating rink will be ready for use for its main functionality in two weeks.
