The Eternal Flame must burn. The energy crisis can temporarily leave Pridnestrovians without light and heat, but will not deprive them of the undying memory of the feat of their ancestors. This was discussed today in Tiraspol in the course of inspection visit to the Glory Memorial. The President, the head of the capital's state administration and representatives of the construction and contracting organization involved in the reconstruction of the site took part in the working meeting. They discussed progress in the work. The memorial complex is structurally expanding. The new sector is informational and artistic. The Unknown Soldier monument will be located in the center of the exposition. The Eternal Flame bowl is also being updated. The flame itself continues to burn during the reconstruction period. The opening of the updated site is scheduled for the 12th of April of this year. On this memorable day for Tiraspol residents – the anniversary of liberation from the Nazi invaders – a ceremony of reburial of the remains of the defenders will be held.
