More than seven hundred rowing enthusiasts representing government agencies, ministries, departments and educational institutions were united by the two-day regatta “The President's Family for Healthy Lifestyle”. The sports festival was held in the capital. 54 teams competed in six groups. The winners have been determined. The strongest rowers among the security forces are the Ministry of Internal Affairs. The best time in the final was shown by the crew of the Moldavian Metallurgical Plant (Rybnitsa metallurgists participated in the race for the first time) in the group of enterprises and organizations. The leadership of the PMR Presidential Administration has been retained for the third year in a row in the race of civil departments. The teams of the Olympic Reserve School are the best among student and school teams. The PMR Government Office is on the top step of the podium among women's teams. Winner of the 2024 Super Cup regatta “The President’s Family for Healthy Lifestyle” is the PMR Ministry of Internal.
The PMR President Vadim Krasnoselsky addressing the participants of the regatta noted the growing interest in the event, mass sports in general and rowing in particular. He spoke about the uncompromising nature of the fight and the emotions that overwhelmed both sportsmen and fans. The President expressed confidence that everyone who became acquainted with this sport will go out on the water again and again, introducing children to a healthy lifestyle and a culture of active and useful pastime. Vadim Krasnoselsky, Head of the PMR Rowing Federation, drew attention to the team essence of this sporting area, emphasizing that joint training and a common fight for victory unite teams and add coherence in achieving common goals and solving problems, including official ones. The President mentioned the fact that the composition of the regatta participants is not only growing, but also becoming more diverse, including from an age point of view. Vadim Krasnoselsky congratulated without exception everyone on their victory (it is different for everyone) and expressed gratitude to the participants and organizers of the regatta on behalf of the President’s family.
